Celebration of Learning

As part of our Celebration of Learning, the students have had the opportunity to create a piece of public art that is connected to our work in inquiry with the Artist in Residence Sharon Fortowsky.

As a way to give back to the community, the students have decided to sell a postcard of the their collaborative public art piece. The postcard will be 5 dollars with 4 dollars of the purchase going to KidSport is a not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment so that kids who need support can be involved in sports. Please make sure to bring 5 dollars in cash to our celebration of Learning on April 19^th from 6-7 to purchase a postcard.

****Home Reading****

Please send back clear home reading book bags every Tuesday and Thursday to get your new books! The volunteers exchange the books in the morning so it is important that students hand them in first thing when they arrive. Just a reminder that these books should be at a "just right" level for independent reading for your child.
