Today we input on IRIS a short video about our animal habitats.
Ask your child about their project!

 
-Student Work and personal items: in the next days, students will start taking their work home. If, your child will not be here until the last day of school, please inform his/her teacher to make sure they will take home their work, shoes and other belongings. Students are encouraged to bring a reusable bag to school to place items may not fit into their backpacks.

-As we get closer to the end of the year we ask you please inform the office if your child is moving schools, it will help with the transition of documents and help us identify accurate numbers.

-If your family will be away the last day of school, please provide the school with a legal sized envelope with your home address and make sure it contains proper postage for your child’s report card to be mailed out. Report cards will not be able to go home early.

-Deadline to place an order for the school BBQ is tomorrow (Tuesday – Jun 19).

Tuesday | June 26 - School BBQ
Wednesday | June 27 - Last Day of school for students

Skating Hello Royal Oak School Parents and Guardians! Your son and/or daughter will be bringing home a letter soon telling you about our Skating Activity that will take place March 14, 15 and 16 th . We are looking for several volunteers to help with tying skates, assisting on the ice, walking with classes from the school to the outdoor rink and helping with the skate shack. We are very fortunate to have booked the KidSport skate shack and we will need a few volunteers organizing and managing the skates and helmets. Friday Sept. 15th - Our week in review!

Happy Friday!! We have had a busy week! Check our mail folders today because we have our home journals to share. Please remember to write your child a little note back in the journal. In Math, we started working on the "Candy Problem". How many different ways can 3 kids share 8 candies? Take a look at how we organized our work on the Smartboard! We also worked on Sorting objects into groups. How many different ways can we sort buttons?? Shape, Size, Colour, Number of holes, etc. Important Reminders! **All blue forms that have gone home this week need to be returned ASAP.  **Conferences are on Thursday evening and Friday morning. Please book online ASAP and see the office if you do not have your My CBE account set up.  **Library books can be returned anytime. This week we will be setting up for the book fair so the students will NOT be taking out new books this week.
