Math
We finished writing
our Math stories about our bunk bed sleep over problems. Students were asked
how many different ways they could make a given number.
Ask me about... What
number did you choose? How many
different kids were on the top bunk? How
many were on the bottom bunk?
Inquiry
We are discussing and debating services in our
community. What services are essential?
How do you know that one service is more important than another?
Ask me about... What do you think the most important
service is in your community and why?
Literacy
Next
week we will be story writing. We have read the story by Ezra Keats, “The Snowy
Day” We discussed Peter’s snowy day and
created some snowy day art to represent our understanding of the story. Students
have brainstormed ideas about things they like to do on a snowy day. Next we will become authors and create our
own snowy day story adventures.
Ask
me about… What is the best thing about a snowy day and why?
