Math
In Math we have been practicing our addition skills using domino's and dice. Student's are asked to count how many dots on each domino and then add them together, making a number sentence. Some students chose to really challenge themselves and were adding very large numbers together. Later this week we will be rolling dice and adding those numbers together and making number sentences. We are practicing our addition skills as we will be applying our knowledge to solving and creating Math stories next week and into the new year.

Literacy
We have jumbled up our literacy groups this week. Some students are with the same teacher, others have moved to a different group. Our grouping system is designed to meet individual student's needs and target similar skills and strategies in reading. Students have the opportunity to work with different teachers throughout our literacy block to support and develop reading comprehension.

Music
Ask me about what Holiday songs have you been singing in music?

Gym
What did you do with the parachute today?
